why SEMINARs & trainings?
When seminars and training courses are the right approach
Seminars and training courses bring together specialists and managers from different companies and sectors to impart structured knowledge in a short space of time – either as open-enrolment courses or as in-house training delivered directly at the company’s premises.
Successful products are the result of collaboration between product management, product marketing and product-driven business development.
This is precisely where Serpil’s seminars and training courses start: through six key themes, they combine strategic thinking with practical implementation – from well-founded product decisions and clear positioning to the development of new business areas and sustainable growth.
The focus is on knowledge transfer: methods, frameworks and practical examples that participants can then apply independently in their day-to-day work.
The strength lies in collaboration. Working in small groups, participants develop solutions together, learning not only from the trainer but also from one another across different sectors. This makes seminars particularly effective when a team or management team needs to build a shared understanding – for example, to introduce new methods in product management, product marketing or business development.
Strategically speaking, seminars and training courses are most effective when the focus is on scaling up knowledge, rather than on solving a single, highly specific problem.
Serpil
If a manager needs one-to-one support in a specific decision-making situation, coaching is the better option. When it comes to restructuring processes and organisational structures within a company, consultancy is required. If there is a specific issue that needs to be resolved collaboratively within a few hours, a workshop is more suitable. Seminars and training courses are the right choice when several people need the same foundation – repeatable, standardised and with demonstrable practical application.
Participants can expect a clearly structured programme: a concise knowledge transfer, followed by group work on their own practical cases, combined with coaching elements and application exercises. Open seminars and training courses take place throughout Germany, whilst in-house training is delivered across Europe directly at the client’s premises.

Procedure
Her Seminars & Training Courses with Serpil
Open seminars and in-house training courses follow the same basic structure, but have different areas of focus.
In open seminars – usually held in hotels across Germany – participants from different companies learn together and benefit from the exchange of knowledge across industry boundaries.
In-house training courses take place directly at companies across Europe – from Germany to England, Switzerland and Malta – and focus on applying existing knowledge.
In both formats, group sizes are deliberately kept small: a maximum of twelve participants, regardless of demand. Serpil knows from experience that with larger groups, ‘the quality suffers considerably’.
Seminars and training sessions are delivered using a mix of methods, including group and individual work, keynote presentations, application exercises, practical examples provided by participants, and business coaching tools. This pedagogical structure ensures that what is learnt is demonstrably put into daily practice rather than simply being forgotten.
